To be honest- I haven’t gotten the hang of the freezer meals. It’s a next level of planning and preparation I haven’t reached yet. Someday! These recipes will be here for me when I get there. Until then, I make the recipes someday and they are really good.
I’m so happy I purchased this! Not only do I have a freezer full of meals for busy nights or unexpected guests, but I’ve been able to share SOOOO much food for friends who have given birth or need a helping hand. I’ve touched up some of the spices more to my liking, but all the recipes are a GREAT jumping off point.
I am loving the freezer meals menu plans. It has made evenings for this busy mom run so much smoother. I love that the recipes don’t have a lot of specialty items and are quick and easy to put together.
I also have both slow cooker collections, and the lunch PDF, but the freezer meals are my favorite. It is so nice to be able to have a delicious meal ready to go, and I find they are also excellent options to bring to a new mom for her freezer.
Having the PDF is perfect for me - I always have access to the recipes, and don’t have to worry about losing or ruining the cards.
I love these meals! Here's my tip. I always make one at a time, but I double them. I have a family of 3 so usually we get two meals out of these but I figure if I am going through the work, might as well make one and freeze one. I love that they are all so versatile. My daughter doesn't eat/like ham or eggs but I can easily sub ingredients to make it work for our family. PS. Kielbasa is a great sub. We leave out the eggs in her burritos and she just doesn't get the Quiche (one of my favorites BTW and I love to take to POTLUCKS, it always gets RAVE REVIEWS). I am a PDF girl, but I love the Freezer Baby Cards. They are awesome. I printed and made my own, but I think you can purchase separately. Our favorites so far are the Parm Ranch Chicken Tenders, the Cracker Barrel Chicken Sandwiches, and the Burgers! So many more to list. You will love these meals!
